the thing about gettinga license in europe. they know the have to be good drivers. fahrschule (german driving school) takes about 6 months and costs thousands of dollars(euros). compared to the us, where even in the bests states, it can be done in a week or 2 and not cost less than $200

how do i know? i've had a US license for 7 years, a german license for 4 years, and european intenational license for a few months now.

i've seen more accidents than i can count in the US, and for as long as i've been in germany, i've seen 1 accident that doesn't involve an american

I agree that the law should be changed. Take the autobahn for example. They have no speed limit and yet they still have fewer accidents than we do in the US. It's because people actually have to be good drivers to get their licenses in Europe. In the US all you have to do is memorize some road signs and drive around on mellow city streets. Highway driving should be a part of the test! That way we wont give out license to people who are incompetent and unsafe behind the wheel.

Thanks for the shout-out, guys! I'm one of the group who made this (for a college short-film competition 4 years ago) and it's still interesting to see what people think about it.

response to brent terry thats a myth the reason most adults say oh its ok the chp "california highway patrol" lets you go 5 over the limit and its not true the reason that they say that is because back in the day motorcycles were air cooled and they had to go fast so their motor wouldnt over heat but the was a longass time ago and now its gone but there are some exeptions for certain states

As a supporter of the idea of speed limits being abolished in America, I ahve to say I agree with what they were doing. Proves that a slower speed is actually more dangerous than a fast one. I actually almost got into an accident doing 2 over one day. In florida, most of the interstates are 70 MPH. I was coming back from work one day, had the cruise set to 72 MPH at like 9 at night, and all of a sudden, this cop comes speeding around this car from behind me, cuts me off and slams on his brakes, leaving me just enough time to get around him without hitting him. I left the cruise set, and he did it again. He did it about 2 more times before he got stuck behind a semi, at which point I bumped it up to 75 to get away from his crazy ass, which actually somehow worked.

i remember when the speed limit in Montana was "reasonable and prudent" showing that the state had some faith in a persons judgment. i want those days back there were less highways fatalities when there was no speed limit although I'm not sure if that's because of population increase or the speed limit. but 75mph when all i can see is strait interstate for the next 6 miles puts me to sleep

Welcome to Floridahell. People never ever get out of the 3rd/2nd lane here, and none are taught that moving the same speed as other traffic is dangerous. I drive fast and with purpose, while Repulifuckians talk on a cell phone and tie traffic up for miles because nobody learns the proper rules of the road here.

My blood boils thinking about, I'm a professional delivery driver and I get paid to deliver merchandise and packages in a timely manner...

Great video. A little apprehensive at first, but the finale was spectacular!!
I ran across this video http://trafficwaves.org/trafexp.html about a year ago. I use this driving technique regardless of which lane I drive in. It has served me quite well. It's absolutely amazing how infrequently I apply the brakes, and actually keep moving.
Maybe it's the Embry-Riddle AeroNautical Unversity and Retired Navy sticker on my rear window, but my calm and measured approach to driving seem to spread like a wanted virus. I don't remember the last time I got tailgated.
Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas to all.
if you can read this, thank a teacher; if you can still read it in English, you're welcome.
