Have you guys ever seen that movie in which those kids have to climb through that cave to find a hidden treasure and there are bad guys chasing them and they finally make it to One-eyed Willie’s ship and escape with treasure in their pockets which their parents use to save their neighborhood? That’s what things are like around here.
We went through a crunch-time battle to rival the Bulls playoff game in which Scottie Pippen battled through the flu to win it all, and have come out the other side. After blazing the midnight oil for a good couple of weeks, launching the cut back and forth to the graphics guy, the sound guy, the color guy, the music guy, and pretty much every other guy in town, we’ve submitted an ass-torching cut of the film to Sundance! Yes, the film festival, not the artisan boutique. That would be weird. Anyhow, now that we’ve got the thing really laid out in front of us, we can start applying those finishing touches that will make your face detach from your head and holler for more. Because that’s what we’re into around here.

Congrats.
BAH I want a copy already.
I live in Salt Lake City and will be the first in line to get tickets! I’ve never been to Sundance, I’m afraid I’m not good at hob-nobbing with the Hollywood elite, but for this one I will throw caution to the wind. Can’t wait for February! This will give me a reason to muddle through the depressing winter.
Opps, I meant can’t wait for January! See, told you I’ve never been to Sundance before.
I especially like the part in “The Goonies” when the kids give all the treasure to their parents. Congratulations,
Dad
“Ass Torching?”
By ass-torching I meant very good. Might have come out wrong.
Wasn’t that Jordan who had the flu? When do we get to see this thing!?!?
Yea it was Jordan in the 97 finals against the Utah Jazz I believe. Nonetheless, I cant wait for this film to come out.
Congradulation to Alex and the team. By the way, what was the 1 eyed monsters name??
I figured I’d throw Pippen a bone. Poor guy always gets swept under the carpet that is Michael Jordan. Probably should have gone with Steve Kerr, though, huh?
Holding my breath that the film makes it in! Congrats! Can’t wait to see it!
I am not sure i dig “ass-torching”, but I knew what you were getting at. This may be the most anticipated film ever if you are a racer of any sort. I may make atrip to Sundance to see it. How do we find out if it made it in?
So the hope is once you get it in front of the masses at Sundance there will be a studio exec that will pick it up for mass dist? I can ask a friend if he has any enroads on that if you like? Just trying to “heap-good-mojo” as Mr. Dave Despain would say…
When do we find out that you have been accepted to Sundance………..and then, when is the film to be shown ?
Hi all,
So when will we get to see the film here in the UK.
I can’t wait much longer!!!!
Kai
Want! I’m rereading The Driver, and I can’t wait to see this.
Congratulations! I hope to see your film. Long ago I competed in the 1971 Cannonball, but unfortunately DNFed. I’m glad to see that someone has the coglioni to still do this1
I don’t see it as part of the list of films on the Sundance Website. Any update?
Will this movie ever be released? I’m starting to give up hope…
What is the scheduled date for “32 Hours 7 Minutes An Outlaw Race” being screened at Sundance?
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD ITS APR 09 CAN WE SEE IT YET???
